Theme: Our personal rebellion

Key Thought: We all build our own thrones unless the gospel breaks our pride.

Scripture: “Each of us has turned to our own way.” — Isaiah 53:6

Reflection:
Our rebellion is often subtle. We claim we want “no king,” yet we gladly sit upon the throne of our own choosing. We crown ourselves ruler and assume control of our lives. The gospel reveals our self-rule for what it truly is: deception. Only Christ frees us from the tyranny of self.

Call to Action:
Confess an area where you’ve been insisting on your own way instead of God’s.

Prayer:
Jesus, dethrone my pride and take Your rightful place as Lord of my life. Amen.
